Job summary

Arcadia Cold Storage is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator for the 2nd shift (Tuesday - Saturday, 3:30 pm - 12:00 am). You will verify incoming/outgoing items, process orders as trucks arrive, and coordinate with the Warehouse Lead to ensure accurate, on-time shipments.

Responsibilities include checking bills of lading, maintaining tally documents, updating the DMS, and expediting orders while handling customer inquiries within 72 hours.

POSITION OVERVIEW

A Shipping & Receiving Coordinator verifies and keeps records on incoming and/or outgoing items.

2nd shift: Tuesday - Saturday, 3:30 pm - 12:00 am

ESSENTIAL FUNTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

Check bills of lading (BOL) for accuracy.

Process all inbound and outbound orders as trucks arrive and depart warehouse.

Coordinate shipping and/or receiving operations with Warehouse Lead.

Check status of special requests, expediting orders where necessary.

Fill in shipping and/or receiving tally documents.

Organize “mail slots” with proper paperwork.

Schedule shipping and/or receiving appointments of LTL and FTL.

Handle and reconcile all customer complaints and discrepancies within 72-hours

Update the DMS (Dock Management System) in a timely manner.

Execute all safety procedures and standards regarding the storage and receipt of goods.

Perform other duties and special projects as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

High school graduate or general education degree (GED) from an accredited institution, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Basic reading, legible writing and arithmetic skills required.

Strong sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines.

High level of attention to detail.

Comfortable working independently or as a team.
