Job summary

Kenco Logistics in Pleasant View, OH is hiring a Shipping/Receiving Clerk to verify and record incoming and outgoing shipments, prepare outgoing shipments, and receive deliveries at the dock using the warehouse management system.

The role emphasizes accuracy, document control, loading/unloading, inventory checks, and adherence to safety regulations. You will contribute to SQFI/FDA-ready operations and support continuous improvement in a fast-paced warehouse.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Associate’s degree or two years of equivalent experience preferred.
• Minimum six months in a warehouse or distribution environment required.

Responsibilities

• Verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Prepare outgoing shipments and receive deliveries to the warehouse at the dock and using warehouse management systems.
• Document management and record keeping for shipments and inventory.
• Label, pack, and load items for shipment according to specifications.
• Inspect for damage and discrepancies with freight records and receipts.
• Maintain inventory records and ensure safety and cleanliness of the work area.
