Job summary

PaperWorks in Louisville, KY, is hiring a warehouse forklift operator to unload, label, and ship products produced at our 100% recycled paperboard facility. The role requires forklift and roll clamp truck experience and a high school diploma, with certification provided if needed.

You will inspect equipment, pull finished goods, scan barcodes, prepare shipments, and maintain a clean, safe work area. It is a full-time, on-site position.

Qualifications

• High school education or the equivalent is required.
• Computer and barcode scanning experience is required.
• Forklift and roll clamp truck experience with certification is required (certification can be provided).
• Experience in a warehouse racking environment and equipment is needed.

Responsibilities

• Unload all incoming stock and materials and load all outgoing freight; label accordingly and place finished goods in warehouse.
• Fill out daily forklift truck inspections and report problems to management.
• Pull finished product from the case sealer line.
• Scan and stage finished product for shipments or rack for future releases.
• Pull product on pick tickets for truck load carriers and LTL shipments.
• Break down units as needed for customer releases.
• Process shipping documents in T-Box and check for accuracy.
• Unload roll stock and corrugated trucks; place barcode labels on units and scan to locations.
• Load and unload all inbound and outbound freight.
• Load sheeters with roll stock according to production line up.
• Re-label butt rolls and place them in the butt roll area.
• Keep work area clean and free of clutter.
• Participate in inventories.
• Forestry Chain of Custody (COC).
• Manufacturing plant environment; physical activities including bending and lifting.

6a-2pm,2pm-10pm or 10pm to 6am ( shift is based on seniority)
