Summary: The position's primary responsibilities will be to receive, ship, deliver supplies, materials and equipment as well as maintaining inventory control and records.

Primary Tasks:

• Ship, receive, and deliver supplies, materials, and equipment; maintain inventory control and records.
• This position involves lifting and carrying objects weighing up to 70 pounds.
• Perform system and/or manual tasks to support inbound and outbound operations.
• Work in various functional areas such as customer order picking, packing, stocking, quality control, loading, and unloading freight.
• Prepare outbound shipments by sorting product onto fixed sorting rails and conveyors.
• Enter data into ERP system and other computer programs.
• Report and record any damaged products/merchandise to the designated Supervisor or Lead.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment and report all maintenance or safety issues requiring corrective actions.
• Create Airway Bills and ensure courier pick-ups are scheduled and loaded safely and correctly.
• Ensure all orders are packed to specific packing instructions and documented procedures.
• Participate in all scheduled cycle counts and physical inventories.
• Adhere to FAA Regulations as they relate to Part Distributors.

Typical Duties: Receive and unload freight both manually or with equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks; check for damaged goods; verify quantity and quality of orders; verify items received with purchase orders; wrap, package, and ship supplies; deliver and retrieve supplies to and from work or storage areas; tag and issue supplies; stock shelves and rotate inventory; may receive, store, assemble, and move furniture; may maintain equipment and vehicles.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred experience includes handling, storing, and shipping materials or supplies; operating material handling equipment; accessing information on a computer; reviewing documents for accuracy and completeness. Must be able to drive a delivery vehicle.

Willingness to be trained on the operation of power and/or hand tools, forklifts, and other packing equipment.

Required to have a valid Driver's License.
