Job summary

Daikin Applied in Dayton, Ohio is seeking a warehouse associate to unpack and inspect incoming shipments, sign for received items, and prepare orders for carriers.

You will use Microsoft Office daily, label products for inventory, and assist the team lead with packing, shipping, and confirmations. The role includes benefits like PTO, paid holidays, medical/dental/vision, 401K match, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of related warehouse or distribution experience.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent; ability to read and understand written English.
• Ability to learn how to operate power equipment.

Responsibilities

• Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages.
• Audits and packages outgoing orders for small package carriers and LTL carriers.
• Uses Microsoft Office programs to complete daily tasks.
• Labels and/or packages products so that it is ready to go into inventory or out on a shipment.
• Back-up to the Team Lead.
• Closes orders out through digital shipper software.
• Prints out address labels, bill of lading and packing slips for all shipments
• Responding to incoming Salesforce and emails.
