Job summary

Nashville Display in Lebanon, TN is seeking a Warehouse Associate to count, weigh, and identify items in shipping and receiving, and to load/unload trucks while completing shipping and receiving reports.

You will verify materials against invoices and packing lists, keep records of damaged items and discrepancies, operate a forklift, and input data into the AS400 system. Maintain safe, organized work areas and support team projects as needed.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Forklift driver test required.

Responsibilities

Count, weigh, and identify items in shipping and receiving department.
Load and unload trucks and complete shipping and receiving report forms.
Assist with verifying shipping & receiving materials against invoices, bills of lading, customer orders, and packing lists.
Keep records of damaged or defective products and discrepancies in quantities and weights.
Document time, date, quantity, source and destination of material shipped or received.
Routinely operate a forklift truck and other material handling equipment.
Input data into AS400 accounting system and other computer programs.
May pull prints, verify orders, and ensure orders are not mixed.
Maintain clean, safe work areas and follow established safety procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned and possibly participate on project teams.
