Job summary

Neogen is seeking a full-time Shipping Clerk for the Mount Sterling team. The role involves picking and packing with RF scanners, ensuring order accuracy, and managing packaging to minimize costs.

The shift is first, with a focus on safe, efficient warehouse operations and ongoing training. Responsibilities include receiving and warehousing tasks, forklift checks, and collaboration with the team to improve processes.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, analyze and interpret shipping reports and regulatory documents.
• Effective written and verbal communication with customers and management.
• Basic mathematical skills and ability to use shipping software.
• Ability to operate a forklift and hardware for material handling.

Responsibilities

• Pull orders and verify accuracy before shipping.
• Operate RF scanners and packaging equipment to prepare shipments.
• Unload shipments and process received goods according to procedures.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with cycle counts.
• Identify process improvements to increase shipping/receiving efficiency.
