Job summary

CooperWorks Industries, a division of MAC Medical, is seeking a detail‑oriented shipping/receiving professional to manage the accurate receipt, storage, and shipment of materials and finished goods. This role supports inventory accuracy and collaborates with Purchasing and Production in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

You will prepare and verify shipments, maintain freight documentation, coordinate carrier pickups, and help ensure on‑time delivery to customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; shipping, receiving, warehouse, or inventory experience preferred.
• Experience with freight paperwork, purchase orders, basic data entry, and MS Office preferred.
• Inventory management or ERP software and LTL freight coordination a plus.
• Forklift experience preferred; ability to work independently and collaboratively in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, package, label, and verify outgoing shipments for accuracy, condition, and customer requirements.
• Prepare and maintain bills of lading, packing slips, shipping labels, and other freight documentation.
• Coordinate carrier pickups, deliveries, and shipment schedules to support production and customer deadlines.
• Receive and inspect incoming materials; compare quantities and items against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Identify and communicate shortages, overages, damage, and shipment discrepancies; assist in resolving issues.
• Accurately record shipping, receiving, and inventory transactions in company systems and maintain organized records.
• Label, stage, store, and move materials and finished goods; assist with loading and unloading as needed.
• Support inventory counts and reconciliation; coordinate with Purchasing, Production, and other departments.
• Maintain an orderly, safe work area; follow material-handling and safety procedures; perform other assigned duties.
