Job summary
Momentum BMW/MINI, part of Sonic Automotive, is the #1 volume BMW dealer in Houston. We’re hiring a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to manage parts flow, ensure accuracy, and communicate with service, parts, and vendor teams to keep operations smooth.
This full-time role requires inspecting shipments, documenting intake/outbound items, maintaining inventory records, and upholding safety. Benefits include 401k with match, PTO, Sundays off, employee discounts, and growth opportunities in a Fortune 500
Qualifications
- Experience in shipping/receiving or warehouse operations.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Proficient with basic data entry and computer tasks.
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and document incoming shipments.
- Process outgoing shipments using proper procedures and labeling.
- Maintain accurate records in inventory systems.
- Communicate shipment status to teammates and managers.
- Keep the shipping/receiving area clean, organized, and safe.
- Track deliveries and follow up on delays or missing items.
- Assist with department paperwork and internal correspondence.
- Support relationships between dealership, customers, and vendors.
- Follow all safety guidelines and report incidents.
