Job summary

G A Richards Company in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a materials handler to oversee receipt, preparation, recording and dispatch of incoming and outgoing materials. The shift options are 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

Responsibilities include preparing records verifying identity, count, weight and routing; forwarding records to start accounting procedures; maintaining accuracy with barcode labels and ASN; must be computer literate, organized, and detail oriented.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 months of related experience or training.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and complete records verifying material identity, count, weight, routing, etc.
• Forward records to initiate accounting procedures.
• Must be computer literate, organized and detail oriented.
• Must have experience in materials transfers, barcode labels and ASN.
