Job summary

Wabtec Corporation, a global leader in railway equipment and services, is hiring for a Shipping Clerk in Hibbing, MN. You will support warehouse operations, prepare shipping documents, and coordinate shipments with transport providers to ensure timely delivery.

Responsibilities include order entry, document preparation, and reporting. Candidates should have a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and proficiency with Word/Excel.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 6 months of related field.
• Current Driver’s License
• Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist with regular Warehouse operations when not acting as Shipping Clerk.
• Enter sale orders as directed by customer service.
• Arrange and schedule product shipments with transport companies.
• Prepare shipping labels, documents, and invoices.
• Record shipments into computer system and distribute reports to appropriate departments.
• File open orders, invoices, OEM accounts and shipping documents.
• Troubleshoot and correct transportation discrepancies.
• Assist with timecard preparation.
• May serve as a back-up for the receptionist during lunch and break times.
• May serve as back up to other office support positions as needed.
