Responsibilities
- Receive all POs moving through the main facility or the main office.
- Notify plant, farms, or office of small package deliveries.
- Maintain data on tracker deliveries and STOs.
- Print receiving documents from Excel and file for use.
- Check in inbound trucks, print pallet tags for appropriate PO#, and furnish to dock personnel.
- Accept and document inbound and outbound appointments from carrier dispatchers. Change dock appointment schedules within SAP to match the written appointment book.
- Check drivers in and out, ensuring they have the correct load and paperwork.
- Facilitate drivers signing paperwork; may need to accompany drivers to trucks and seal trailers.
- Perform duties of a similar nature or level, ensuring effective billing of products to store customers.
- Monitor picking and shipping, relieve inventory as needed, perform cycle counts for accuracy, and prepare driver delivery tickets and route boxes.
- Check in and out carriers.
- Verify all necessary documents accompany loads, such as export papers, certification, and hold letters.
- Note discrepancies on bills and notify the Inventory Analyst.
- Plan transportation/logistics as needed using cloud service E20open.
- Prepare loads for warehouse picking.
- Answer and direct incoming calls efficiently.
- Fax necessary documents promptly.
- File daily documents and shipments.
- Compile daily workload schedules in Excel and coordinate with shift supervisors.
- Order and maintain office supplies like seals and temperature monitors.
- Adhere to safe work practices, follow GMPs, maintain sanitary conditions, and ensure product quality. Report any conditions that may affect food safety, quality, or safety.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
