Job summary

OmniMax International is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our Sacramento, CA team. This full-time role supports receiving, stowing, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control, with a focus on efficient layouts and safe warehouse practices.

The position requires standing, lifting, and operating a forklift/order picker; shift runs 5:00 PM to 3:35 AM with a 35-minute lunch. We offer comprehensive benefits and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Present skill and ability to operate an order picker and forklift.
• The ability to lift product, stand for long periods of time, count, and write.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing receiving and stowing, picking and packing, shipping, inventory management, and documentation.
• Optimizing layouts, workflows, and utilization of warehouse space.
• Monitoring the safety and security of goods and materials.
• Utilizing a warehouse management system (WMS), ERP, or other system to track and analyze processes and performance.
• Implementing safety policies and procedures.
• Wrapping skids of product for shipment and moving to staging area.
• Maintaining order of fittings, warehouse, and placing all stock in designated areas.
• Serving as a back-up to Order Pickers, Forklift Operators, and WHSE P&G Stock.
• Quality control of product (identify and report defective, damaged, or otherwise bad products).
• Any other responsibilities deemed necessary by leadership.
