Job summary

Ascendo-Resources in West Palm Beach, FL is seeking an experienced Shipping & Receiving Clerk for an immediate temporary assignment. You will support daily shipping, receiving, packaging, and inventory operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with pay starting at $20/hour. Responsibilities include packing, labeling, generating shipping documents, crating, and coordinating with carriers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Shipping and receiving, warehouse, or logistics experience.
• Experience with UPS and/or FedEx shipping platforms.
• ERP system experience is a plus.
• Experience with forklifts and pallet jacks preferred.
• Comfortable handling and packing industrial equipment and materials.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet shipping deadlines.
• Must be immediately available to start.

Responsibilities

• Pack, label, and prepare parts and products for domestic and international shipments
• Crating and vacuum packing of machines and equipment
• Generate shipping documents using ERP systems
• Create and process shipping labels through UPS and FedEx platforms
• Verify outgoing shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and other documentation
• Weigh, measure, and inspect items to ensure shipment accuracy
• Properly package mixed merchandise to prevent damage during transportation
• Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing incoming materials
• Coordinate with inventory and warehouse teams to maintain accurate material flow
• Prioritize critical orders to ensure on-time shipment
• Coordinate pickups and drop-offs with outside vendors
• Monitor and maintain shipping and packaging supplies
• Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records
• Follow applicable shipping procedures and regulations
