Job summary

WorkSolved Staffing is seeking a Shipping/Receiving associate for 1st shift in Walker, MI. You will manage shipments, receipts, and inventory, operate forklifts and hand trucks, and prepare bills of lading and packing slips. Experience with ERP systems and a valid forklift certification are preferred.

• Lift up to 50 lbs and perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.

WorkSolved Staffing is hiring a Shipping/Receiving associate on 1st Shift in the Walker area. As a Shipping and Receiving Associate, you will be responsible for managing the shipment and receipt of materials, operating various equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, and ensuring the accuracy of inventory. This position offers a great opportunity for growth within our organization.

Responsibilities

• Utilize ERP system to ship materials and track shipments
• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move materials
• Hazmat certification is a plus
• Prepare and create bills of lading, packing slips, and customs documents
• Assemble kits and packages as per specified requirements
• Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular inventory counts
• Pack and unpack boxes, ensuring proper handling and labeling
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs of weight
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned
• May assist in other departments as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in shipping and receiving preferred
• Proficient in using ERP systems for shipping and tracking
• Valid forklift operator certification

• 1st Shift - 7am to 3:30pm
• Pay Rate. $19-20/hour
