Job summary

Us Display Group Inc. is seeking a shipping/receiving clerk to prepare and document outgoing shipments and receive inbound goods at our facility in Tennessee. You will assist with scheduling, labeling, and tracking shipments while maintaining accurate inventory records.

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to lift up to 100 pounds, and the stamina to stand for long periods. Prior experience with shipping software and loaders is a plus, with FEDEX/UPS familiarity preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–6 months experience in shipping/receiving or similar role.
• High attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 100 pounds.
• Experience with shipping software and labeling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist Shipping/Receiving personnel as needed.
• Complete daily inbound receiving of products and notify recipients.
• Schedule trucks for shipments and track status.
• Create delivery receipts and packing slips.
• Produce address labels and distribute labels.
• Receive proofs of delivery and log materials.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and locations.
• Operate forklift and related equipment if certified.

Description:This position is responsible for preparing and efficiently preparing outgoing shipments and receiving incoming shipments. Along with maintaining and organizing inventory to maintain operations productive and documenting damages.Primary Responsibilities:Assist the Shipping/Receiving personnel as needed.Completes daily inbound receiving of product and packages, notifies recipients accordingly.Management of opendock inbound website for schedulingCreate delivery receipts and packing slips.Schedule trucks for shipments and track shipment statusProduce address labels as needed.Coordinate, and maintain shipping/receiving requests and documentsProduce load tags, revise incorrect tags.Receive proof of deliveries.Expedite incoming materials (ink, corrugated, shippers, labels, etc.), mark as needed, remove from incoming trucks.Distribute copies of labels per list.Receive and distribute incoming UPS and FX shipments.Log all received materials, count damaged materialsPull samples of shippers, etc. as required.Expedite customer supplied products, physically inventory incoming Thomas Nelson books.Maintain inventory accuracy and location accuracy for stocked itemsPerform all activities of the shipping/receiving departmentMaintain digital and physical fillingOther duties assignedRequirements:High school diploma or equivalent qualification.A minimum of 3-6 months experience in a similar role.Ability to work in a fast environmentKeen attention to detailIn-depth understanding of company standardsComfortable standing or walking for long periods of time.Frequently use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 poundsPreferred Forklift CertificationPreferred FEDEX and UPS shipping experienceComputer proficiency including use Gmail, Google Sheets, ExcelBasic math skills to calibrate and measure specifications.Experience with WMS/ HRIS/ Amtech
