Job summary

Iron Mountain in Moraine, OH is seeking a hands-on Shipping/Receiving Clerk (Project Specialist) to move and protect important historical government records. Responsibilities

• Move and stage records, pulling, moving, and stacking boxes weighing up to 50 lbs, including at heights up to 15 feet.
• Label and track boxes with barcode and RFID labels in exact locations for electronic tracking.
• Pack and secure pallets, organize boxes on pallets, and wrap for safe shipping.
• Check inventory against pull lists to ensure accuracy before movement.
• Use material handling gear (hand trucks, wheeled carts, pallet jacks) to move boxes in the warehouse.

Iron Mountain is seeking a hands-on Shipping/Receiving Clerk (Project Specialist) to join our Records Project team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in moving and protecting important historical government records. Working as part of a team, you'll make sure every box is tracked, packed, and safely transported according to strict security guidelines.

This position is a temporary assignment with the potential to transition into a regular role based on business need and performance. You will be part of a dedicated workforce in a global company that celebrates the skills you bring for the benefit of our customers and each other.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities) In this role, you will:

• Move and Stage Records: Safely pull, move, and stack record boxes weighing up to 50 lbs, including working off elevated platforms up to 15 feet high.
• Label and Track: Put barcode and RFID labels on boxes in exact locations so every file can be tracked electronically.
• Pack and Secure Pallets: Arrange boxes on pallets in proper order, protect the corners, and wrap them tightly in plastic for safe shipping.
• Check Inventory: Help check box numbers against pull lists to make sure everything matches before it is moved.
• Use Material Handling Gear: Safely move boxes around the warehouse using hand trucks, wheeled carts, and pallet jacks.

What You'll Bring (Skills & Qualifications) The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience working in a physical role, preferably in a warehouse, shipping/receiving, or material handling environment.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately match long numbers and letters on labels and lists.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs continuously throughout an 8-hour shift, and comfort working at heights using secure platforms or mobile lifts.
• US citizenship required due to federal security rules.
• Must be willing and able to undergo fingerprinting and pass a federal background check.

What We Offer (Benefits)

• Salary details: Starting at $21.80 (UPTO $5.09 additional if benefits are declined)
• Shift: Monday - Friday
• Onsite location: 3150 Springboro Road Moraine, OH
• Eligible for SCA Pay of up to an additional $5.09/hr (if benefits are declined)
