• Receive, unload, and process deliveries, verifying incoming freight against invoices and receiving reports.
• Sort, stage, label, and deliver merchandise to the appropriate departments.
• Verify and track inventory, maintaining accurate inventory reports and receiving logs.
• Reconcile shipping invoices and receiving reports to ensure accuracy of quantities.
• Receive, store, ship, and distribute incoming and outgoing packages and mail.
• Maintain the security and organization of the receiving room and ensure the safekeeping of packages.
• Follow all applicable hazardous materials shipping guidelines and regulations.
• Prepare and ship outgoing mail and packages.
• Inspect packages upon receipt to verify quantity and condition before delivery to guests.
• Communicate with guests regarding received packages and coordinate deliveries.
• Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records, including obtaining guest signatures for package deliveries.
• Report lost, damaged, or missing packages to the appropriate management personnel.
• Report workplace accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management.
• Complete required safety training and certifications.
• Follow company policies and procedures, including uniform, grooming, confidentiality, and asset protection standards.
• Provide professional, timely, and courteous service to guests.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with guests, coworkers, and management.
• Answer telephone calls using proper etiquette and maintain positive working relationships with team members.
• Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors.
