Amentum is seeking a detail-oriented property inspector to manage incoming and outgoing shipments, verify documents, and input data into MOD DMS. You will ensure accurate property accounting and support related sales activities from our Texas facilities.
The role requires a high school diploma, at least one year of related experience, and solid computer/typing skills, with eligibility requirements including background checks and a valid driver's license.
Purpose and Scope: Inspect, inventory, and document incoming and outgoing shipments of property.
Position Knowledge, Education, Skills, and Abilities Required: High school diploma or equivalent training and experience; 1 year of related experience, and computer and typing skills. Position requires the individual be a U.S. citizen or have permanent lawful resident status, a valid driver's license, and ability to pass background checks.
Authority: Process seizures, input data into MOD DMS, inventory, and assist with live sales.
Responsibilities:
Inspect transporter’s shipping documents (bills of lading, Customs Forms) and compares with inbound file to ensure correct delivery and identifies overages or shortage on shipping documents prior to acceptance and includes but not limited to:

Service Contract Act (SCA) Compensation & Benefits:
This is an hourly, overtime-eligible position that falls under the Service Contract Act (SCA). In accordance with the Health and Welfare provisions of the SCA, and in addition to your base hourly rate, you may be eligible to receive an additional health and welfare payment for each hour you work to ensure compliance with the minimums set forth by the act. The amount you are entitled to receive will vary depending upon the fringe benefits you select now and in the future.
