Job summary

Stryten Energy operates a 100,000 sq. ft. Kansas City, MO facility focused on lead, lithium, and vanadium energy storage solutions. This Warehouse Receiver role supports inbound/outbound logistics, ensures paperwork accuracy, and maintains a clean workspace in a safety-conscious environment.

Day shift, Monday–Friday, 6:45 AM–3:15 PM, with Hazardous Waste training provided within six months, and ongoing 5S and Quality System adherence as part of a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Lift truck operation experience.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must wear PPE as required.

Responsibilities

• Unload shipments arriving at plant, check materials against paperwork.
• Store materials and product in assigned area.
• Move materials between areas and prepare for shipment.
• Operate lift truck safely and maintain a clean work area.
• Comply with health and safety policies and Quality Systems requirements.

Overview

The primary responsibility of this job is to unload, verify, and receive inbound shipments, to load and ship out plant scrap, returnable racks/crates and pallets for the receiving department.

Day shift: Monday through Friday 6:45AM – 3:15PM

Responsibilities

• Receive directions from supervisor and lead man.
• Unload shipments arriving at plant, check materials versus paperwork.
• Store materials and product in assigned area.
• Move materials from or into specified area.
• Operate lift truck in safe manner. Hook up charges to lift truck.
• Prepare load sheet, load product and material for shipment.
• Inspect, band, and load hazardous waste on trailers for shipment to recycling center.
• Assist coordinator with paperwork and other coordinator duties.
• Comply with health and safety policies and regulations for the protection of self and fellow workers.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area at all times.
• Comply with current Quality Systems requirements.
• Pallet Repair.
• Hazardous waste training shall be provided to the employee within six months of the date the employee filled this position and a review of this training provided every 12 months thereafter. The employee will complete a program of classroom instruction. The employee shall be supervised until training is completed. The training shall consist of a review of proper management of hazardous waste, satellite accumulation containers, how to review and prepare a hazardous waste manifest, and proper labeling requirements.
• Perform other work as assigned by Management including 5S cleaning.

Qualifications

• Sitting, standing, bending, twisting, reaching above head, and walking as necessary.
• Occasional lifting to 50 pounds.
• Personal protective equipment as required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Lift truck, small hand tools, air compressor, nail gun, bander, clipboard, pen/pencil, RF, and 2-way radio.
• Operation of Powered Industrial Equipment such as forklift.
