Job summary

Stryten Energy in Columbus, IN is seeking a Shipping Documents Clerk to prepare and transmit shipping documents, print pick tickets, BOLs, packing slips and track inventory. You will coordinate ASN transmissions and work with multiple departments to ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires strong computer skills (Excel and MRP systems), good verbal and written communication, and the ability to handle multiple tasks. Weekend overtime is required.

Qualifications

• Must be available for Weekend work and overtime.
• Must have good attendance record.
• High School Diploma / GED, but not required.
• Military training and/or experience encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Use a computer daily to print pick tickets, generate BOLs, packing slips, and track inventory.
• Prepare shipments for ASN transmissions.
• Excellent verbal and written communicator.
• Handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Work with multiple departments to achieve 100% on time delivery.
• Work with trucking companies to schedule and tracking shipments.
• Work with forklift drivers to pull customer shipments.
• Keep work area clean.
• Adhere to all Stryten safety policies.
• Complete tasks given by direct management.

Overview

Stryten Energy, a new company name with a long history in the Niagara Falls, NY area, manufactures proprietary and custom injection molding products serving the industrial lead battery, automotive and consumer markets. Stryten Energy is expanding battery poly manufacturing and recycling output to help solve industry-wide supply constraints.

To prepare and generate shipping documents to be transmitted to the customers of Stryten Energy. Candidates should be knowledgeable with computer systems such excel and MRP systems. Organization, customer care skills and time management skills are needed to be considered. Previous knowledge of shipping is preferred.
