Job summary

TOPS Staffing partners with a growing company to recruit a Shipping & Receiving Clerk dedicated to keeping operations running smoothly. You will manage the flow of goods, ensure accurate inventory, and maintain proper documentation while working a 4‑day schedule from Monday to Thursday, 5:00am–3:30pm.

The starting pay is $22 per hour with an annual bonus typically ranging from $6,000 to $8,000 once hired directly.

• High school diploma or GED preferred with 1–2 years in shipping/receiving.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform loading/unloading.
• Experience with inventory control and stock verification.
• Proficient in generating labels and checking packing slips.

TOPS Staffing has partnered with a growing company to find a talented Shipping & Receiving Clerk who’s ready to hit the ground running.

In this position, you'll be an essential part of the team, managing the smooth flow of goods into and out of the facility, ensuring accurate inventory, proper documentation, and timely shipments—all while working a convenient 4-day schedule from Monday to Thursday, 5am to 3:30pm.

Starting pay rate: $22 per hour (company also offers a yearly bonus which typically pays out between 6 to 8 thousand dollars that your eligible for once hired directly)

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

• Knowledge of packaging and processing to handle everything from preparing shipments to receiving stock.
• Experience with warehouse management systems and shipping software such as UPS, FedEx, or similar platforms.
• Strong stock control skills to verify invoices and manage inventory accurately.
• Solid order processing experience to ensure every shipment is correctly labeled and documented.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform loading/unloading tasks efficiently.
• Good computer skills for generating labels, checking pack slips, and maintaining documentation.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with freight companies, vendors, and internal teams.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain an organized workspace.

Nice to Have:

• Experience obtaining shipping quotes and arranging freight transportation.
• Certification in forklift operation or other warehouse safety training.
• Additional knowledge of warehouse management systems or inventory software.

Preferred Education & Experience: High school diploma or GED preferred. At least 1-2 years of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations.

Other Requirements:

• Prior experience with UPS and FedEx shipping software is highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
• Willingness to follow safety procedures and maintain cleanliness.
