Job summary

Stulz Gmbh in Frederick, MD is seeking a Warehouse Receiver/Material Handler to manage inbound shipments, verify PO specs, unload trucks, and place items in correct locations.

You will operate a forklift, perform daily inventory tasks, and work under the Warehouse Supervisor. Requires a GED/HS diploma, 2 years in receiving, basic computer skills, and ability to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Meet all delivery trucks.

• Notify appropriate department of any problem and coordinate RTV/QA involvement.
• Run daily shortage and receipt reports for orders and deliveries.
• Mark materials with SATS and job numbers; enter packing slip and PO in system.

Receives and unpacks materials and supplies, loads, unloads, and moves materials within or near the plant, yard, or work site by performing the following duties:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Meet all delivery trucks
• Inspect all incoming material for damages and ensure material meets PO specifications
• Unload delivery trucks and provide a signature
• Unpack ALL material to verify quantities, not just go by the quantity on the outside box.
• Account for all incoming material and equipment by verifying that the amounts delivered coincide with the receiving copy of the PO, packing slip, and/or other delivery documentation including RMA’s and Outsource MOs
• In the event of a potential problem, promptly notify the appropriate department to resolve the problem and or receive in and transfer to the RTV site creating an RTV Entry or QAHOLD site for the QA Manager’s involvement.
• Runs daily the shortage report for all expedited orders, and delivers items to the Material Handler III or production work center
• Properly mark all materials with SATS number and, if applicable, job number
• Enter the packing slip with the PO number (verification of vendor number, quantities, etc.) in the system generating a receipt number
• Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to bin locations or to other designated areas; “put a ways” and office deliveries. Locate and stock received material by rotating the inventory by receipt date
• Forwards all questionable inventories to the Material Allocations Planner and or Warehouse Supervisor
• Runs daily receipt report for all physical counts of receiving work and verifies with packing slips
• Must be able to operate a forklift and/or electrically powered devices needed for moving material and maintain certification
• House clean area
• Perform and participate in the completion, of the yearly Physical Inventory
• Other duties as required

Qualifications:

Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Must be familiarized with the standard concepts, practices, and procedures for the Warehouse area and perform a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision; reports to the Warehouse Supervisor. Customer Service attitude a must.

Education/Experience:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• Two years of receiving/ warehouse experience
• Moderate computer knowledge
• Knowledge of mechanical parts nomenclature
