Job summary

Intertek Deer Park laboratory is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to manage shipment and receipt of materials and samples, maintaining records in a timely manner. This on-site role supports Intertek Caleb Brett operations and requires adherence to safety and quality policies.

The position offers a 6 pm–6 am CDT, 4 on/4 off schedule, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and PTO; candidates must have a High School diploma or GED, solid time management, MS Office

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Excellent time management and organization skills are required.
• Familiarization with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office software is required.
• A valid driver’s license and a reliable driving record are required.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Ships and receives materials for the company and its clients and maintains associated records.
• Receives, examines, and records all inbound items defined as samples according to the login process.
• Receives, examines, and records all quality critical materials and supplies in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
• Prepares and packages items for shipping, arranges for the method of shipment in conformance with IATA and other company policies and procedures, and maintains associated paperwork.
• Maintains the supplies necessary to accomplish the above responsibility.
• Maintains assigned area, files, supplies, and equipment in a clean and orderly manner.
• Adheres to the Company’s Safety Policy and Procedures, Quality Management System, Ethics Policy, Environmental Management System, and company strategy; uses good judgment and diplomacy.

The Shipping & Receiving Clerk is responsible for managing the shipment and receipt of materials, and samples from our valued customers, and maintaining applicable records in a timely manner.

What you’ll do:
