Shipping/Receiving Clerk

Shift/Hours: Monday - Thursday, 6am-4:30pm, Fri 6am-11am

Pay Rate: $17/hr - $18/hr

Location: Dayton, Ohio 45403

Experience: 1-2 years

Job Responsibilities

• Unload delivery trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment, ensuring materials are handled safely and efficiently.
• Verify received items against purchase orders, check for damaged goods, and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Store materials in designated locations, pick and pack items for shipment, and distribute materials within the warehouse.
• Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and effectively.
• Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy of shipping documents and labels.
• Participate in physical and cycle counts, maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Maintain records of shipments, packing slips, and shipping documents.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.
• Collaborate with supervisors, material handlers, and production teams to ensure smooth operations and timely order fulfillment.

Required Skills

• Ability to lift or move heavy items (up to 70 lbs.) regularly.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication with colleagues and supervisors.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
