We are seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to assist with tasks related to distribution and coordination, ensuring efficient operations and timely delivery of products.
Requirements
- Retrieve items to be shipped from inventory per sales order picking tickets.
- Notify sales staff of inventory shortages or shipping delays promptly.
- Package and label shipments carefully using the UPS system to ensure parts arrive intact and at the correct destination, with neat and secure packaging.
- Receive incoming items into the ERP system accurately, attaching deliveries to purchase orders.
- Deliver received equipment to the appropriate department or inventory location promptly.
- Retrieve blank fans from inventory and deliver to the fan department as per machining orders.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and delivery issues.
- Provide feedback on schedule delays and workload issues to relevant managers.
- Report problems with vendors and shippers to the Purchasing Agent/Managers.
- Perform regular maintenance on equipment and tooling used.
- Keep work tools secure and in good condition.
- Leave shared equipment clean and in its designated place after use.
- Notify managers of equipment, tooling, or material needs timely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe environment and compliance with standards.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in distribution, coordination, or similar roles.
- Familiarity with manufacturing or industrial protocols.
- Knowledge of industrial parts, equipment, manufacturing, and engineering is a plus.
Work Environment
- Industrial setting with collaborative atmosphere.
- Exposure to loud noises and hazardous equipment.
- Use of safety gear required.
Physical Requirements
- Extended standing and walking.
- Ability to access all areas within the facilities.
