Base pay range
$20.00/hr - $25.00/hr
SUMMARY: The Shipping & Receiving Clerk prepares products for incoming and outgoing shipping and maintains records of all shipping data after verifying its contents. The Shipping & Receiving Clerk also arranges for product transportation. Commitment to and support of the Company Core Values are key to success in this position.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Ensure that all jobs are identified with a job number.
- Verify that all previous operations have been signed off before shipping parts to an outside process or to the customer
- Verify the cleanliness of the parts, quantity of parts, and visually inspect parts for any obvious non-conformance or handling damage when either shipping or receiving
- Package parts using accepted procedures, customer requirements and industry standards
- Maintain a neat and clean work area
- Verify that all shipping paperwork is in place and any ‘C of C’s” are signed
- Verify that material and process certifications accompany all incoming and outgoing product
- Work to priorities identified by supervision expediting “hot jobs” through the department
- Perform pick-ups and deliveries as directed by your supervisor in a safe expedient manner
- Report any problems with company vehicles or equipment to your supervisor
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Uphold the company core values
- Other duties as assigned
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one (1) year related experience with direct shipping and receiving; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Authorization to work in the United States. To conform to U.S. export control regulations, you should be eligible for any required authorizations from the U.S. Government.

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULING: The hourly rate for this non-exempt role is
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour, depending on experience. Overtime may be required deepening on production demand. This role is primarily Monday - Friday with weekends if needed.
