Howmet Aerospace Inc. in Berea, OH is seeking a Shipping and Receiving clerk to handle packing, labeling, and document preparation for shipments on-site.

The role requires accuracy, mult tasking, and strong collaboration with order management and factory teams to meet customer needs and deadlines.

Formación

• 6 months or more of Shipping and Receiving experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Detail and data orientation
• Effective process evaluation and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multitask in a rapidly changing environment
• Ability to maintain positive working relationships with internal customers
• Ability to accurately count and identify parts and verify with paperwork
• Ability to work well in a team setting and under immediate supervision
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Responsabilidades

• Pack, seal, label, or affix postage to prepare materials for transport
• Contact carrier representatives to make transport arrangements
• Organize distribution and shipping of merchandise: Make necessary verifications against documents, prepare the merchandise, move merchandise to the appropriate area, and handle customer pick-ups
• Assign, tag, and store received inventory to proper location
• Receive parts to stock that have come in from external suppliers
• Ensure products are properly packed and labeled
• Maintain safe and clean working area
