Job summary

Hire Evolution Consulting is hiring a Shipping & Receiving Associate in Allentown to support daily shipping, packing, order fulfillment, and receiving operations. The role focuses on picking customer orders, verifying product details, and maintaining an organized workspace.

Candidates must have picking and packing experience, be able to stand for extended periods, and work Monday–Friday from 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM for 20 hours per week. Steel-toe footwear is required.

Qualifications

• Previous picking and packing experience is required.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with printers and inventory systems.
• Ability to use warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and RF scanners.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently and maintain an organized work area.

Responsibilities

• Pick customer orders accurately from designated stock locations.
• Verify product details, catalogue numbers, lot numbers, quantities, weights, and special handling instructions against order documentation.
• Pack products according to established procedures and applicable hazardous materials regulations.
• Apply required shipping labels, markings, and documentation.
• Stage completed orders in designated areas for shipment.
• Receive incoming shipments, unpack materials, and restock inventory.
• Use SAP or similar inventory systems to record, order, receive, and store materials.
• Operate RF scanners, pallet jacks, picking carts, packing equipment, and appropriate cutting tools.
• Use computers and printers to complete shipping and receiving tasks.
• Maintain accurate inventory and verify product placement on shelves.
• Perform shelf maintenance and organize packing materials.
• Keep workstations and stock areas clean, organized, and free of debris.
• Follow all safety procedures and established work instructions.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned.
