Job summary

The Technology House is seeking a Material Handler in Streetsboro, OH to perform material handling and inventory control in concert with Operations, Purchasing, and Shipping. The role may also temporarily handle Shipping & Receiving duties and requires attention to detail, problem solving, time management, and effective communication.

Typical duties include picking, inventory traceability, ERP data entry, FIFO management, and ensuring accurate material flow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with inventory management preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems preferred.
• Experience with material handling preferred.
• Experience with tow motors preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

Responsibilities

• Material Control and inventory tracking.
• Pick product accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain traceability and proper identification of items.
• Enter transactions into ERP system accurately.
• Maintain FIFO inventory rotation.
• Organize and maintain cleanliness of inventory storage.

General Job Description

The Material Handler at The Technology House is responsible for performing functions relating to material handling and inventory control. The position works closely with Operations, Purchasing, and Shipping to delivery parts in a timely manner and maintain inventory efficiently and accurately. Responsibilities require attention to detail, problem solving skills, time management, and communication. The Material Handler will temporarily perform the responsibilities of the Shipping & Receiving Associate.

Responsibilities

• Material Control
• Pick product accurately and effectively
• Maintain traceability and identification of product
• Enter transactions accurately into ERP system
• Maintain FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory rotation
• Organize and maintain cleanliness of inventory and storage
• Improve and manage inventory locations
• Inspect incoming material and transfer material to inventory

• Report defects and investigate issues
• Audit and close out completed jobs
• Support Operations with internal material routing
• Quality Assurance
• Create and review quality documents and material certificates as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
