Job summary

Solar Atmospheres in El Cajon is seeking a full-time Shipping and Receiving Assistant to ensure orders are processed accurately and shipped on time. You will handle loading and unloading, packing orders, and tracking materials in our systems.

Hours are Monday–Friday 7:00am–3:30pm with occasional overtime. The role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and prior shipping/receiving experience; reliable and independent work is essential.

Qualifications

• Receive, pull, and pack orders for customers.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Check materials into the computer system to keep records and inventory.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling tools.
• Reliability and dependability to ensure on-time shipping.
• Ability to bend, lift up to 50 lbs, and work around equipment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, pull, and pack orders for customers.
• Load and unload trucks as needed.
• Check materials into the computer system to keep accurate records and inventory.
• Operate standard warehouse equipment such as forklifts and rolling ladders.
• Collaborate with coworkers in shipping and with drivers and furnace operators.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
