Job summary

MSI is seeking an entry-level Shipping and Receiving associate in Savannah, GA. The role involves verifying orders on a tablet, picking and stacking flooring materials, palletizing, and securing loads with shrink wrap for shipment. Expect a 60% manual labor and up to 40% forklift operation based on workload.

Typical hours are Monday–Friday 7:00 AM–5:30 PM with two Saturdays per month 7:00 AM–12:00 PM. Compensation is hourly with overtime at 1.5x base, and bonuses are possible based on experience

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one year warehouse experience.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Proficient with tablets or iPads.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and perform well under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick and stack flooring materials on pallets; secure loads with shrink wrap.
• Review and interpret shipping orders to identify required products and transport methods.
• Ensure all shipping documentation is accurate and properly maintained.
• Prepare and organize paperwork for outbound shipments.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound freight schedules to support efficient warehouse operations.
• Communicate with carriers to arrange pickups and provide clear loading instructions.
• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse in compliance with safety standards.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance tasks.
• Perform additional duties as required or requested.
