Job summary

Staffmark Group in Lynchburg, OH is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Associate to help move products safely and efficiently. You will verify shipments, label boxes, prepare outbound orders, and maintain organized warehouse operations.

This role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM, with a pay rate of $15.00 per hour and comprehensive benefits through Staffmark.

Qualifications

• Able to follow instructions and work safely.
• Basic knowledge of shipping and packaging procedures.
• Able to use packaging equipment and tools.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Dependable and able to work as part of a team.
• Able to perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Check incoming and outgoing shipments to make sure items, counts, and weights are correct.
• Match shipments to packing lists, bills of lading, and other records.
• Put shipping labels and packing lists on boxes.
• Help choose the best way to ship products.
• Build and prepare boxes for shipping.
• Pack products using padding, spacers, and other materials to help prevent damage.
• Keep shipping supplies and packing materials stocked and organized.
• Record shipment information, including weight, shipping costs, damages, and missing items.
• Follow safety rules and help keep the work area clean.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
