Job summary

International Wire Group is hiring a Shipping and Receiving Associate for their Jordan, NY plant. You will support the movement of materials and finished products, prepare shipments, inspect materials, and operate forklifts and pallet jacks to ensure on‑time delivery.

The role requires attention to detail, data entry accuracy, and teamwork. Full‑time, first shift, with a pay rate of $20.00 per hour and standard safety procedures in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, manufacturing, or material‑handling experience preferred.
• Experience operating a forklift and pallet jack.
• Forklift certification preferred or must be obtained as required by the company.
• Basic computer and data‑entry skills.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and complete required shipping documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare materials and finished products for incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Receive, inspect, verify, and process incoming materials.
• Visually inspect incoming and outgoing wire to meet quality requirements.
• Verify shipment contents and maintain accurate shipping and receiving records.
• Coordinate and arrange product transportation as required.
• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material‑handling equipment.
• Move reels and other materials without damaging product or equipment.
• Enter shipping, receiving, inventory, and product information into company systems.
• Follow all safety, quality, and operating procedures.
