Job summary

Binswanger Glass in Oklahoma City is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Associate to manage inbound and outbound shipments, verify documents, and operate a forklift. You will assemble crates, record contents, and ensure accurate storage and delivery.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and dependable attendance, with responsibilities including loading/unloading, route goods, and completing deliveries to customer sites using company trucks.

Responsibilities

• Assemble containers and crates, record contents manually or in a computer system, pack goods to be shipped and affix identifying information and shipping instructions.
• Oversee and/or perform loading and unloading of goods from trucks or other conveyances.
• Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages and reject damaged goods.
• Unpack, code and route goods to appropriate storage areas.
• Maintain internal, manual or computerized record-keeping systems.
• Operate forklift, hand truck or other equipment to load, unload, transport and store goods.
• Complete deliveries by loading/unloading at customer and supplier sites; drive company truck or van to customers; pull a trailer if needed.
