Job summary

White Cap Supply Holdings, LLC. is hiring a Receiving Associate to join our on-site team in Grand Prairie, TX. You will receive, count, and store items, recording data in our systems and ensuring accurate stock handling.

You’ll pack, unpack, and label goods, flag shortages or mis-ships, and coordinate with shipping vendors to resolve issues. Prior receiving experience and forklift familiarity are preferred, with opportunities to grow in a stable, benefits-rich environment.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of receiving-related experience; training provided.
• Preferred forklift experience and familiarity with materials handling.
• Ability to use Oracle, OTM or UPS WorldShip for data entry and shipments.
• Spanish language proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receives, counts and stores items.
• Records receiving data using a computer and company software.
• Packages, unpacks, and marks stock items accurately.
• Notifies supervisor of short shipments or incorrect items.
• Communicates with shipping vendors to resolve delivery issues.
• Delivers products to designated areas and works with purchasing on shortages.
• Files purchase orders according to policy.

A Receiving Associate at White Cap…

• Receives, counts and stores items.
• Records receiving data using a computer and company software.
• Packs, unpacks, and marks stock items properly and accurately.
• Identifies incorrect or short shipped items and notifies supervisor.
• Communicates with shipping vendors to resolve delivery issues.
• Delivers products, supplies and equipment to the correct designated area.
• Works closely with purchasing to track shortages for late/slow delivery.
• Files purchase orders correctly based on company policy.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Generally has 0-2 years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience operating a forklift.
• Experience with sales order computer software, preferably Oracle.
• Knowledge of construction and industrial products.
• Spanish language proficiency.
• Ability to use a computer with Software like Oracle, OTM, and the UPS worldship application
• Attention to detail
• Ability to stock, write neatly, and have receiving experience
