Job summary

White Cap is hiring immediately for a Receiving Associate to join our Field Operations team on site in Grand Prairie, Texas.

You will receive, count, store items, record receiving data, and communicate with shipping vendors to resolve delivery issues while supporting purchasing to manage shortages.

Preferred qualifications include forklift experience, Oracle or similar sales order software, knowledge of construction products, and Spanish language proficiency.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of receiving/warehouse experience.
• Forklift experience preferred; training may be provided.

Responsibilities

• Receives, counts and stores items.
• Records receiving data using a computer and company software.
• Packs, unpacks, and marks stock items.
• Identifies incorrect or short shipped items and notifies supervisor.
• Communicates with shipping vendors to resolve delivery issues.
• Delivers products to the designated area.
• Works with purchasing to track shortages.
• Files purchase orders per company policy.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience operating a forklift.
• Experience with sales order computer software, preferably Oracle.
• Knowledge of construction and industrial products.
• Spanish language proficiency.
