Position Purpose

Responsible for verifying accuracy of parts being received, storing them properly, and facilitating outbound shipments to increase revenue.

Essential Functions

1. Support the Kirby Smith vision and core values of One Mission, One Team, One Plan, One Goal
2. Pick, pull, pack, and ship parts accurately and timely
3. Track shipments and freight charges; bill accurately
4. Receive parts into the system and process accordingly
5. Operate material handling equipment safely
6. Load and unload trucks
7. Inspect inbound shipments for damages
8. Deliver as directed, maintaining accurate records
9. Assist in inventory counts
10. Participate in training
11. Maintain a clean and safe work environment
12. Adhere to safety policies
13. Communicate professionally with customers and staff
14. Maintain reliable on-site attendance
15. Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Six months of shipping and receiving experience preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Proficiency with computer applications; shipping software preferred
• Valid driver’s license

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to squat, twist, bend, climb, reach overhead
• Work in extreme weather and conditions
• Follow PPE policies
