Job summary

Wilbert Funeral Services, Inc. in Dallas, TX is hiring a Shipping / Receiving Associate to accurately receive, store, fulfill, and ship funeral-related products. You will collaborate with warehouse staff, customer service, and shipping partners to ensure orders are processed on time and delivered as expected.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • Experience with pallet jack, dolly and forklift preferred.
  • 2+ years of warehouse/shipping experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Shipping and receiving funeral related products.
  • Pull orders for shipping or customer pickup by determining part number and quantity; prep for shipping.
  • Ensure products are directed to correct couriers based on shipping priorities.
  • Work with Inside Sales Reps to ensure orders are correct and processed so daily duties are completed.
  • Receiving, stocking inventory and conducting inventory counts.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, team-focused, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced warehouse environment while contributing to a culture of reliability, quality, and customer service excellence.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:* Shipping and receiving funeral related products* Pull orders for shipping or customer pick-up by determining part number and quanity – proof order – prep for shipping* Ensure products are processed and directed to correct couriers based on shipping priorities* Work with Inside Sales Reps to ensure orders are correct and processed so all daily duties are completed by the end of the day* Receiving of product, stocking inventory and inventory countsEducation:* High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required.Skills:* Excellent organizational and communication skills* Demonstrated professionalism and courtesy while delivering to our customers* Able to understand and execute all instructions on a customer’s orderRequirements:* Team Oriented* Basic computer skills* Ability to stand for long periods of time* Experience with manual or electric pallet jack, two-wheel dolly and forklift* 2+ Years of shopping or wharehouse experience preferred* Highly organized with the ability to multi-task* Able to work independently as well as on a teamPhysical Requirements:* Ability to lift 40lbs* Lifting, standing, bending, stooping, twisting, turning, kneeling and squatting for short periods of timeFollowing receipt of a conditional offer of employment, candidates will be required to complete additional job-related screening processes as permitted or required by applicable law.We’re an equal opportunity employer.
