McLane Company, Inc. is hiring a Shipping and Receiving Assistant in Phoenix, AZ. The role maintains shipment schedules, processes purchase orders, and coordinates with buyers and carriers to ensure accurate deliveries.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 2+ years work experience, preferably in distribution.
• Must be able to read, write, and understand English at work level.

Responsibilities

• Maintain schedule of incoming & outgoing shipments.
• Receive purchase orders, print pallet tags, coordinate with buyers, vendors and carriers.
• Communicate receipts of products to leaders in a timely manner.
• Notify on no-call/no-shows and rescheduled shipments; confirm early shipments.
• Inspect shipments for damages.
• Label shipments prior to loading.
