Job summary

FLSmidth Cement in Allentown, PA is seeking a Warehouse/Inventory Associate to uphold inventory integrity and safe storage practices. You will handle stocking, documentation, and liability risk controls while assisting in cycle counts and stock movements.

The role requires at least a High School Diploma or GED and 4 years in manufacturing/warehouse settings, with strong safety awareness and blueprint interpretation skills.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • 4 years’ experience in a manufacturing and/or warehouse environment.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints.
  • Ability to follow written or verbal instructions.
  • Knowledge of health and safety requirements including fire hazards, compressed gases, electrical, chemical, and mechanical devices.

Responsibilities

  • Supports inventory accuracy by ensuring components are stocked for easy identification, counting, and record accuracy.
  • Stores components according to procedures to safeguard from damage.
  • Assists in periodic, special, or perpetual stock inventory.
  • Compiles reports on stock usage, adjustments, deterioration, and location changes.
  • Assists in distribution of stock with accurate documentation and quality compliance.
  • Rejects defective parts and completes appropriate documentation.
  • Recommends storage, identification, and stock location considering space and load limits.
  • Operates lift trucks or electric hoists to move materials and products.

What You Bring
