Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a reliable and hardworking Production Team Partner to join our UniFirst Family. As a Team Partner in the Shipping Department, you will help keep our customers on schedule by ensuring on-time delivery of garments.

We offer a 40-hour work week with weekends off and on-the-job training. You will prepare garments for shipment, organize by route and stop, perform final inspection for quality, and follow safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school education or GED equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to stand and walk for an 8-hour shift.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly with management.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical functions using standard US units.
• Ability to lift up to 10 lbs and push up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare garments to be shipped back to customer locations.
• Organize garments by route and stop number.
• Store garments until shipment back to the customer.
• Handle final inspection to ensure products meet quality standards.
• Prepare garments that require poly bagging/wrapping.
• Follow all safety policies, HACCP and medical guidelines.
• Perform other duties as described by area supervisor or management
