Job summary

Kelco Industries in Colorado seeks a Warehouse Associate to support shipping, receiving, material handling, and production flow. You will move products through production, prepare items for shipment with packaging, labeling, and coordinating truck pickups, and manage MROs.

Light production tasks and quality checks are also required. The role requires safety awareness, dependable attendance, and the ability to work weekends or overtime as needed, with a forklift certification often required for

Job description

Job Summary

Working with Customer Service, Operations and the Quality Departments, this employee will be involved in various duties that would include, but are not limited to, shipping, receiving, material handling, moving product from one area to the next, and working in operations to produce products.

Essential Functions
  • Moving product to its next destination with the production process, as needed.
  • Prepare products to be shipped out, by packaging, scaling, labeling, and calling truck lines, when needed, for pick-ups.
  • Receive and distribute Maintenance, Repair and Operation Supplies (MROs)
  • Light operations in production process, as needed.
  • Helping with assuring quality standards by measuring and sorting parts, as needed.
  • Performs other related duties and special projects as required and assigned by the Department Manager.
Required Skills
  • Use of Proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and knowledge of Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) if required.
  • Complies with OSHA Safety and Health rules.
  • Maintain good attendance and able to work weekends and overtime, as needed.
  • Obtain company certification for use of Forklift, reach-truck, scissor lift.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Knowledge of Quality Management System policies, goals and objectives.
