Job summary

Mid-America LGBT Chamber in Missouri is seeking a dependable mail processing clerk to handle letters, booklets, and outbound merchandise with accuracy and efficiency.

You will operate printing and mailing equipment, perform insertions, packaging, labeling, and shipping using USPS and other carriers, while maintaining records and ensuring safety standards. This is a full-time, on-site role with daily production deadlines and strong teamwork expectations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6 months experience in a distribution or shipping environment preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to learn and obtain lift truck certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate mail processing equipment to fulfill daily shipments.
• Sort, fold, insert letters and enclosures; handle reprints.
• Label and prepare shipments; maintain accurate shipping records.
• Use USPS and other carriers; manage pallet jacks and Inserters.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and restock as needed.
• Attend to safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area.
