Job summary

AVK Industrial Products, a Precision Castparts Company, is hiring a full-time Shipping/Packaging Level 1 in Valencia, CA. The role involves loading and unloading trucks, verifying orders, packaging products, and maintaining accurate inventory records.

Forklift certification is required and 0–1 year of related experience is preferred. Work is on-site in a manufacturing setting with safety protocols, basic computer use, and the ability to lift up to 35 pounds.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification required.
• Basic math and counting abilities.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work safely under functional safety guidelines such as PPE and equipment interaction.
• Verify packaging slips and order contents, weigh and label products.
• Determine method of shipment and packaging.
• Pull, pack, weigh, and label products based on daily orders.
• Insert items into containers and ensure documentation is complete.
• Operate forklift or related equipment as needed.
• Enter data into computer systems for inventory records.
