Job summary

Westlake Pipe & Fittings is seeking a Shipping Operator to identify, safely handle, inspect, and store product for inventory. You will coordinate with QA and loading teams, operate forklifts, and assist with cycle counts and load preparation to ensure accurate shipments.

The role requires basic English comprehension, good math skills, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail. Training and on-site safety programs are provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions in English.
• Communication skills and ability to work with operators, shift leaders, and office personnel.
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic arithmetic.
• Proficiency with basic computer operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate an industrial forklift to lift, stack, or tier products for storage yard and warehouse operations.
• Load outbound shipments safely and accurately onto trailers for shipment.
• Unload inbound shipments safely and assist with inventory counts.
• Maintain accurate inventory and follow safety procedures at all times.
• Assist Shipping Supervisor and other Shipping Operators as needed.
