Job summary

McLane Foodservice in Rocky Mount, NC is seeking a Shipping Coordinator to manage outbound shipments. You will prepare paperwork, verify orders, and coordinate loading with the distribution center, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

The role requires experience in shipping and distribution, strong math and documentation skills, and the ability to train teammates. This is a full-time, on-site position with a daytime shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years in a shipping department.
• 2+ years in a distribution environment.
• Experience shipping outside the US contiguous border preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sends shipments and prepares paperwork for outgoing deliveries.
• Inspects shipments for damages and compliance with orders.
• Verifies shipments per order requirements and tolerances.
• May ship to locations outside the US contiguous border.
• Investigates problems and resolves discrepancies.
• Labels shipments prior to loading and trains new teammates.
