Job summary

McLane Foodservice in Rocky Mount, NC is seeking a Shipping Coordinator to manage outbound shipments, inspect contents, and prepare paperwork in coordination with the DC. The role runs Sunday through Thursday, 9:00am to 5:30pm, and may include shipping to locations outside the US contiguous border.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 4+ years shipping department experience.
• 2+ years distribution environment experience.
• Experience shipping outside the US contiguous border preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sends shipments and creates paperwork for outgoing deliveries.
• Inspects shipments to ensure they are not damaged.
• Verifies shipments per order requirements.
• May send shipments outside the US contiguous border.
• Investigates problems and resolves discrepancies.
• Labels shipments prior to loading.
• Trains new teammates in shipping department.
• Other duties may be assigned.
