Medi-Rents & Sales, Inc. is seeking a Shipping Manager to lead the Shipping Department in Baltimore, ensuring accurate order fulfillment and compliance with company policies. You will supervise staff, coach performance, and coordinate with Purchasing for inventory control.

The role requires hands-on management, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple shipments and carriers in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate proficient ability to use computers, software, and industry products.
• Must show capacity to quickly learn department programs and policies.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, and supervise Shipping staff including performance appraisals.
• Ensure accurate picking, packing, and labeling of patient orders.
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and coordinate replenishment.
• Verify lot numbers, expirations, serials, and IDs on delivery tickets.
• Oversee packing methods and packing material selection for shipments.
• Monitor shipping methods and carrier performance to minimize errors.
• Document and communicate shipping discrepancies and resolutions.
