Job summary

SanMar is seeking a Warehouse Group Lead to oversee daily operations and coordinate workflow in the distribution center. You will ensure shipments are processed accurately and on time, uphold safety and policies, and support training and data reporting.

This role requires leadership, strong communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The position involves operating RF systems and potentially powered lift equipment, with overtime and essential weekend coverage as

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 4–6 years of experience supporting many warehouse areas.
• 1–3 years of powered lift equipment experience.
• Bilingual a plus.
• Detail oriented with ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Knowledge of Internal Operating System(s) and Microsoft Office.
• Demonstrated leadership with example setting and initiative.
• Ability to read/write and identify colors, sizes, quantities, labels and SKUs.
• Ability to understand verbal and written instructions.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a high-demand, high-volume environment and meet deadlines.
• Lift Operator Certification may be required; overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Support daily warehouse operations and system processes.
• Plan and coordinate workflow for the assigned area.
• Ensure proper resource placement and timely shipments.
• Generate and maintain reports; ensure accurate data entry.
• May operate RF unit with internal systems; may operate powered lift equipment.
• Coordinate pick-up schedules with trucking dispatchers when needed.
• Maintain safe, neat work area following safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned and comply with policies.
